| Birth Art Projects One of the great things about Birth Art is that it helps you discover and disarm your hidden fears about birth and parenthood. It's also a great means of tapping into the resources deep withinresources you may not even have realized were already there! I guide all interested clients in the process of creation and discovery through Birth Art Projects. I also provide all the necessary materials. The projects can be as simple as quick drawing on index cards or as involved as creating a symbolic wire sculpture or mandala. Painting, drawing Wire sculpture Belly casts Clay projects Labyrinth I encourage all my clients to go through the labyrinth with me. Many people confuse a labyrinth with a maze, but they're very different. A maze is like a puzzle to be solved. It has twists, turns, and blind alleys. It is a left-brain task that requires logical, sequential, analytical activity to find the correct path through the maze. However, the labyrinth is a right-brain task. It involves intuition, creativity, and imagery. There is only one path, and the way in is also the way out. There are no blind alleys. The path leads you to the center and back out again, although perhaps not in the way you may have expected. As in all the Birth Art projects, the point is the journey of discovery, not reaching the goal in the shortest amount of time or in the straightest line.
